New Zealand Designer Rob Coats Passes Away

At the weekend, New Zealand lost one of it's most talented designers, Rob Coats of Coats Design. Coatsie was responsible for brands such as Rodd & Gunn, Liquor King and Swazi to name a few. As a past 'pupil' of Robs I am very sad to hear of his passing. He was a master of his trade and one of the most passionate designers I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

"Rob’s lifelong passion was crafting great design and it was his wish that the company he started over 26 years ago continued that tradition, even though he could no longer have his say! He was so appreciative and constantly amazed to have had the support of such a great team of people who have passed through Coats and contributed to its success.

And the Coats legacy will continue having happily passed the mantle on to the loyal and talented team that is Coats Design today." Vanessa Coats.
